Incineration waste (slags)

Incineration of waste is a technology based on two purposes, namely to convert the caloric value of the combustible waste into heat and electricity, and to reduce volume (approx. 90%) and weight (approx. 70%). One of the remainders of incineration is slags. Incineration slags are suitable as foundation- or fill material for ground work, road constructions and hydraulic engineering. The remaining aggregate fractions are well suitable for reuse.

REDOX windshifters can clean and separate a lot of materials. Cleaning incineration slags is just one of the many applications.
At Heros a windshifter was installed to separate and clean metal and incineration slags from a light containment.
