The REDOX drum washer installed at Rouwmaat in Groenlo, the Netherlands is designed to wash aggregates and separate them from the light contamination. The aggregates are brought into the drum on the high side with a conveyor belt. At the low site the light contamination flows out of the drum where it goes over a screen to be de-watered. The spirals inside make sure that there is a continuous mechanical shear and discharge of aggregates on the high side of the drum.
